Janice Sue  Dale (McKenzie)
Janice Sue Dale, 72, a retired bus driver for Bourbon County Schools with 26 years of service and a 15 year employee of Arrowhead Contracting, wife of Wilburn Dale, died Friday, November 17, 2017 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. She was born March 3, 1945 in Morgan County, daughter of the late Ernest and Jewell Caskey McKenzie, attended Bourbon County schools, and was a member of Little Rock Christian Church. In addition to her husband, Janice is survived by a daughter, Teresa (Jimmy) McCarty; son, Owen Scott (Margaret) Perry; stepdaughter, Donna Bell; three grandchildren, Rhonda (Tom) Bishop, Owen Perry, Justin Clay Perry; two great grandchildren, Molly Bishop, Maddie Bishop; a step grandson, Bram Bell; a step great granddaughter, Isabella Bell; a sister, Linda Steele; two special nieces, Vanessa North, Melissa Burris; and three great nieces, Briana Burris, Kailyn Burris, and Abigail Burris. A brother, Hermal McKenzie, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 21, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Rex Graham with burial in Peyton’s Lick Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Rex Rawlings, Joe Schuler, John Thomas Crouch, Jerry Davies, Dave Griffith, and Marion Dawson. Honorary bearers will be Terry Crouch, Harold Grooms, Jim Cleaver, Mike Grooms, Paul Lyons, Randy Russell, and Matthew Johnson. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
