Obituary for Jane Clifton Hamilton (Arnsparger)

Jane Clifton Arnsparger Hamilton, 78, of Paris, departed this life Wednesday, October 09, 2019, peacefully at her home, with her family by her side. She was born on June 9, 1941 in Paris, the daughter of the late Reuben Lewis and Cora Lee Wilson Arnsparger, and was a 1959 graduate of Paris High School. She was a former cashier at the Shell Service Station, Ken’s New Market, had worked at Bourbon Heights, had her Kentucky State Insurance License, was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the First Christian Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Diane Arnsparger.

Surviving are her children, Alice Hamilton Blankenship, Ray Lewis Hamilton and Carole Hamilton. Also surviving is a granddaughter, Amanda Leigh Blankenship, and one great granddaughter.

The funeral service for Jane Clifton Arnsparger Hamilton will be at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home on Saturday, October 12, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., with Dr. Larry Bishop officiating. Interment will follow in Paris Cemetery with casket bearers being David Ferrell, Ray Jones, Tim Gray, Lloyd Campbell, Tony Asbury and James “DD” Mastin.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 11, 2019, between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home.
