Obituary for Donald Hart Lowe
Donald Hart Lowe, 91, of Lexington and formerly of Paris, husband of Happy Arnold Lowe, died Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Richmond Place in Lexington. He was born March 26, 1928 in Paris, son of the late Jesse and Jewell Farrow Lowe. Donald was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps and was a retired computer programmer for the Bluegrass Army Depot at Avon.
In addition to his wife, Donald is survived by a son, D. Kent (Judy) Lowe; two grandsons, J. Ed (Stephanie) Lowe, Ryan H. (Bryn) Lowe; and four great grandchildren, Robbins B. Lowe, Landry K. Lowe, Griffin H. Lowe, and Judith Hunter Lowe. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jesse Lowe Jr. and Bobby Lowe.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 10, 2019, at the Paris Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Whit Criswell officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association. https://www.alz.org/
