Carrie B. Jones, age 79, of Paris, died on Wednesday morning, May 22, 2019 at the Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington. She was born on March 29, 1940, in Irvine, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Eli and Golden Marie Stamper Richardson. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Edgar R. Hutchison and four of her siblings, Eli Richardson, Clayton Richardson, Ruth Rhinesmith and Ollie Tucker.
Surviving are four daughters and a son, Kathleen (Larry) Sargent, Ramona Hutchison, Brenda (Raymond) Rogers, Kimberly (Steve) Roe and Darryl (Tina) Richardson. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, David Sargent, Mika Lawson, Angela Bishop, John-Marcus Rogers, Zachery Rogers, Jonah Hembree, Justin Richardson, Carrie Roe, Cullen Roe and siblings, Cordellia St. Amant, Betty Hook, Florence (Gayle) Yarnell and Carol (Johnny) Mattox as well several great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.
The funeral service for Carrie B. Jones will be on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 12:00 noon at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with Bobby Stone officiating. Interment will follow in Paris Cemetery with Casket Bearers being Cullen Roe, John-Marcus Rogers, Zach Rogers, Justin Richardson, David Sargent, Wyatt Robinson and Layne Robinson. The family request friends to call after 10:00 a.m. prior to the service.
