Susan Allen Williams, 84, a beloved wife and mother passed away peacefully in her home on April 22, 2019. She was born on June 18, 1934, in Paris, daughter of the late E. Clarke Allen and Jane Browning Allen. Susan was a 1952 graduate of Paris High School and a former employee at the State Tuberculosis Hospital in Paris, KY. She was a lifelong member at First Christian Church in Paris, KY. She was also a member of the choir, June Stanley Circle, and Stephens Ministry at First Christian Church. Susan was a longtime member of Lynnwood Homemakers and loved spending her free time crocheting and reading.

She is proceeded in death by her husband of 64 years, Edward Porter Williams; an infant child, Bradley Clarke; brothers, Jim Allen and Joe Allen; sisters, Judith Williams and Carolyn Monahon. She is survived by daughter, Lynn Allen Williams Mayo; son, Daniel Edward (Karen) Williams; eight grandchildren, Steven (Amanda) Potts, Brandon (Rachael) Potts, John (Kira) Mingua, Meredith (Nathan) Jackson, Daniel (Whitney) Williams, David Mayo, Mallory (Chuck) Lowe, Morgan (Burt) Mingey; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

The funeral service for Susan Allen Williams will be on Friday, April 26, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Interment will follow in Paris Cemetery with casket bearers being, Steven Potts, Brandon Potts, John Mingua, Meredith Jackson, Daniel Williams, David Mayo, Chuck Lowe, Burt Mingey and Nathan Jackson. Honorary bearers are Kenny Williams, Jeff Bell, Marie Smart, Mary Etta Thomas, Juanita Wells, Deborah Bryant, Frank and Margaret Honaker, and Helen Parsons.

The family request visitation on Thursday, April 25, 2019, at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) between the hours of 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
