Obituary for Lottie Leach (Stamper )

Lottie Stamper Leach, age 77, wife of the late John Morgan Leach, died on Sunday, April 21, 2019, at her home in Bourbon County. She was born on March 6, 1942, in Estill County, the daughter of the late James A. and Ruth Rison Stamper and was a graduate of Bourbon County High School and a member of Bedford Acres Christian Church. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Freda Conyers, Peggy Himes and a brother James Allen Stamper.

She was survived by her son, John M. Leach, III (Kim Watkins) of Nicholas County, two grandchildren, Shawn Morgan Leach and Scott Allen Leach (Amanda); two great grandchildren, MaKenna Kate Leach and Waylon Scott Leach. Also, surviving are brothers, Donald Stamper (Martha), Johnny Stamper (Shirley) and Freddy Stamper (Norma).

The funeral service for Lottie Stamper Leach, will be held on at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with Bro. Dean Scott and Bro. Don Menke officiating. Interment will follow in Paris Cemetery with casket bearers being Joe Leach, James Allen Stamper, Billy Carl Stamper, Forrest Jackson, Bobby Clay Sturgeon and Steve Turley.

The family request visitation after 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home, until time for the service.
