Obituary for Wanda Marie Crump (Traylor )

Wanda Marie Traylor Crump, age 75, beloved wife of Roy Reynolds Crump, died on Monday, April 15, 2019 at Bourbon Heights after an extended illness. She was born on June 11, 1943 in Bourbon County, the daughter of the late Charlie and Josie Buckler Traylor, attended North Middletown High School and had retired, having worked as a shipping clerk for Mallinckrodt and a member of First Baptist Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Jackson and Betty Johnson.

Besides her husband Roy, she is survived by their children, Angela Hoffman (Kirk) of Springfield, Jo Ann Snapp (Steve) of Harrison County, and Rodney Crump (Melissa) of Bourbon County. Also surviving are grandchildren, A.J. Hutson (Danni), Amanda Talbot (Thomas), Lucy Payne (Neil), Morgan Soria (Victor), Matthew Crump (Lauren), David Abrams (Katie), Shane Crump, Austin Snapp; thirteen great grandchildren; and two brothers, Bobby Traylor (Ann) and Ronnie Traylor (Barbara).

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Bourbon Heights, especially Unit 3, the Activities Department and Therapy Department for their excellent care of Wanda.

The Memorial Service for Wanda Marie Traylor Crump will be on Friday, April 19, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church with Pastor Kyle Sullivan and Rev. Don Reed officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until time for the service.
