Glenda Glee Smith, 72, of Paris, Kentucky, a retired University of Kentucky immuno-histology technician, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2019 at her home after an extended illness. She was born March 2, 1947 in Wayne, Michigan, received her training in histology from Wayne County Hospital, attended the University of Kentucky School of Interior Design, and was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Paris. Glenda is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert W. Smith; a daughter, Julie Smith; and a son, Rob Smith. Visitation will be 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Monday, March 18, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home, Paris. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, at Uht Funeral Home, Westland, Michigan with burial in Cadillac Memorial Gardens West. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society.
