Obituary for Silas Sparks "Sparky" Hinkson III
Silas Sparks “Sparky” Hinkson, III, age 76 of North Middletown, died on December 28, 2018 at St. Joseph East in Lexington.
Sparky was born in Bourbon County, the son of the late Silas S. Hinkson, Jr. and Aleta Caywood Hinkson. He was a graduate of North Middletown High School, retired from I.B.M. having worked on the assembly line and married the late Sarah Nance. Besides his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a stepson, Billy Howell; a sister, Barbara Martin; and a brother, Jackie Hinkson.
Surviving are a daughter, Aleta Danielle (Michael) Setters of North Middletown; a stepdaughter, Denise Ruth Howell of North Middletown; and seven grandchildren, Karyssa Setters, Michael Setters Jr., Sara Setters, Christopher Martin, Josie Howell, Billie Jo Howell, and Trey Howell.
There will be a private graveside service at North Middletown Cemetery at a later date.
