Obituary for Bennie Paul Pigg

Bennie Paul Pigg, age 65 of Paris, died on Monday, November 05, 2018 at the Hospice Care Center surrounded by his family after an extended illness.

Bennie was born in Louisa, KY on April 25, 1953, the son of the late Ben and Pauline Branham Pigg. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Pigg and Dan Pigg. He attended school in Louisa and became a fork lift operator and warehouseman. He attended Grassy Lick United Methodist Church in Montgomery County, was a member of Paris Lodge #2, F&AM and a member of the Shriners, Oleka Temple.

He is survived by his wife, Marlene Todd Pigg and sister, Wanda O’Daniel and her husband Mike of Pikeville along with several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He will be especially missed by his special dog Lady Bug.

The family of Bennie expresses special appreciation for the kind staff at Hospice Care Center for the compassionate care received.

The funeral service for Bennie Paul Pigg will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Hinton Turner Funeral Home with burial to follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Bearers will be Lucas O’Daniel, Matthew Faulconer, Mike Robinson, Randall Sparks, Chris Todd, John Todd and Wendell Curtis.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 6, 2018 between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with Masonic Rites at 7:30 p.m.

Expressions of sympathy are requested to be to the Bluegrass Hospice Care or the American Cancer Society and can be made at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home.
