Garey Woodford Allen, 66, husband of Mitzi Fryer Allen, died Monday, August 20, 2018 at Baptist Health Lexington. He was born December 26, 1951 in Paris, son of the late Woodford “Woody” Allen and Kathleen Earlywine Allen Rankin and was a graduate of Paris High School. Garey is survived by his wife, Mitzi; children, Ashley Allison Allen, Brock Woodford Allen, Christopher Todd Allen, Dora; a sister, Maxine Wyrick; three granddaughters; and one great grandchild. A brother, Kenneth Brown Allen, preceded him in death. A private family burial will take place at a later date in Jacksonville Cemetery.
