Remembering Jimmy

As the only girl out of 8 grandchildren, I enjoyed going to see my Grandmother, Aunt and cousins who lived next door to each other.  I used to admire the model airplanes that Jimmy and Everett would build, laugh at Bill Cosby comedy tapes, read their comic books and listen to Elvis singing "You Ain't Nothing But a Hound Dog".  My cousins also taught me how to play croquet and badminton.  We had a good time growing up and enjoyed spending time together.

I do remember one letter that Jimmy had sent our Grandmother from Viet Nam.  She read to me where Jimmy wrote to "tell Lou Etta, that she is lucky that she is a girl".  Jimmy served his Country well.

Jimmy is in a better place now.  May God be with Jimmy now.
