David Paul Braunig Sr., 72, of Cynthiana, a retired Raytheon quality control engineer, died Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Saint Joseph Hospital. He was born November 18, 1945 in Auburn, New York, son of the late William Stanley and Esther Guyles Braunig. David was a graduate of Port Byron High School in New York and received an associate’s degree in engineering from Brooksville Community College in Florida and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa fraternity. He is survived by three daughters, Jacquelyn Bitner (Michael) Stigall, Lexington, Jeanine Every, Paris, Jennifer Jo Braunig, Paris; two sons, William Edward (Angela) Braunig, Clarkson, Kentucky, David Paul Braunig Jr., Paris; 14 grandchildren, Jessica Anderson, David Kelly Jr., Samantha Dingman, Tiffany Braunig, Nikki Naddler, Bridgette Lynn Braunig, Austin Cody Maggard, Rachel Michelle Braunig, Sophia Marie Braunig, Nicholas Cain Little, Christian Cheyenne Braunig, Dakota Aaron Mitchell, Maribeth Kate Adams, Amelia Jo Adams; and eight great grandchildren, Ralph, Irene, Rayne, Aaleigh, Harley, Kayla, Nevaeh, and Edwin. A private family memorial service will be held.
