Obituary for Esther Mary Campbell (Lukaschek)

Esther Mary Lukaschek Campbell, 81, of North Middletown, wife of Thomas Campbell, died Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Saint Joseph Hospital. She was born April 25, 1936 in Czechoslovakia, daughter of the late Jon and Anna Hofman Lukaschek and was raised in Germany. Esther was a former foreman for A.O. Smith in Mount Sterling and retired as supervisor for the 3M Company in Cynthiana. In addition to her husband, Esther is survived by four children, Larry (Darlene) Lukaschek, Paris, Kenneth Houston (Cynthia) Long, Harrisburg, North Carolina, Sandra Long (Doug) Webb, North Middletown, Esther Susan (George) Dayton, Paris; a stepdaughter, Penny Vice, North Middletown; a sister, Anneliese Oppel, Germany; eleven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Faith Erlene Frazer; stepson, Anthony Campbell; and a great granddaughter, Melissa Vice. A Celebration of Life will be held at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018.
