Daniel Scott Hurst, 35, a truck driver, died Tuesday, March 28, 2017. He was born December 23, 1981 in Lexington, son of Kenny and Kimberly Ogle Hurst and attended Southland Christian Church. In addition to his parents, Daniel is survived by two sisters, Kelli Hurst, Krista Hurst; maternal grandmother, Betty Ogle; paternal grandfather, Lowell (Pat) Hurst; three aunts, Lori (Steve) Wagoner, Vicki Hutchison, Ann (Rodney) Gilvin; two uncles, Philip Hurst, Michael Ellis; a special friend, Joann Carpenter and her son, Donavon; and several great aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Rodney Ogle; and paternal grandmother, Carolyn Henson Hurst. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 1, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home followed by service at 1:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. Garrol Finch. Burial will be in Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Chris Brown, Neal Crump, Jason Wagoner, Wes Bryson, Bobby Johnson, and Josh Roe. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to God’s Pantry.
