Hinton-Turner Funeral Home

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Skyler Ray can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: To Skyler's family:

I do not know your family, regardless, it breaks my heart when someone young, passes away. I knew some Ray's, I wondered if he was related. I love the picture you chose for the main picture, that says, "People cant be mad at their lives, when I'm not mad at mine." I am sure he was a blessing to all of you and everyone he met. Please cherish those wonderful memories. I am praying for your family. God bless you, all!

Condolence From: Hambrick Family
Condolence: We are neighbors with Alan and Kelly and know how their family cherished the times with all three brothers. Many times we watched them play basketball in the neighborhood and commented on what a bond the Schmidt family had with Skyler, Hunter, and Gavin. We are praying for the entire family during this heart break.
Love,
The Hambricks

Condolence: Sarah, Danny, Kelli, Brodee, Bailee and Daniel - I know how loved Skylar was by each of you. Everytime I heard a story about him, or seen him when he would come into work with you when he was little, you could see the light in his eyes as well as In each of yours. Skylar may no longer be here in body, but spirit he will continue to shine bright thru your eyes. The healing will come eventually, and smiles and happy memories will help to replace the heartache you feel now without him. Know God has a bigger plan for Skylar and he needed him sooner than anyone here would of liked. He will do bigs things and will continue to watch over you and comfort you during this hard time and all the days to come. May God embrace you now and always with his love. I'm praying for you all. Love you Sarah
