Beatrice H. Royse, 92, widow of Dallas Royse, died Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Bourbon Heights Nursing Home. She was born November 4, 1923 in Bourbon County, daughter of the late Cal and Nellie Buchanan Herrington and was a graduate of Clintonville High School. Mrs. Royse is survived by a daughter, Judith (Bill) Taylor, Paris; two sons, Alan L. Royse, Paris, Mark Royse, Georgetown; eleven grandchildren, Traci Wasson, Stephanie Adams, Barbara Royse, Kent Royse, Edward Royse, Bill Taylor III, Maria Taylor, Sarah Schirmer, Ben Royse, Brent Royse, Lauren Royse; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Keith Royse; a sister, Elizabeth Keller; and a brother, Herman Jack Herrington. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 6, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home followed by a 12:30 pm graveside service at Evergreen Memory Gardens. Casket bearers will be Bill Taylor III, Brent Royse, Ben Royse, Ron Herrington, Doug Keller, and Jim Keller. Memorials are suggested to Bourbon Heights Nursing Home, Hospice of the Bluegrass, or Melanoma Research Foundation.
