Albert Dabney Johnson, 80, widower of Anna Dale Johnson, died Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at his residence. He was born January 17, 1936 in Charlottesville, Virginia, son of the late Harold and Clara Robertson Johnson. Dabney is survived by three sons, Walter Dabney Johnson, Kenneth Johnson, Steve Johnson; two stepdaughters, Debbie (Larry) Sturgill, Paris, Ann Lloyd, Lexington; a step grandson, Patrick (Emily) Lloyd, Pikeville KY; and lifelong friends, Jennifer Ritter and Mark Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Anna Dale Johnson. Memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday June 23, 2016 at Hinton-Turner Funeral by Brother Van Firenstine with visitation after 11:00 a.m. Honorary casket bears will be Mark Johnson, Kevin Bennett, Edmond Boyle, David Burdine, Terry McBrayer, Clyde Wise, Jerry Bootz, Jay Caswell, Bruce Wall, Ray Cox, and James Land.
