Laura Elizabeth Crouch Vickers, 95, Law Boulevard, widow of William "Bill" Vickers, died Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Bourbon Community Hospital. She was born March 1, 1915 in Bourbon County, daughter of the late John and Lucretia Dillion Crouch and was a member of the Little Rock Christian Church. She is survived by a daughter, Juanita McCarty (Jimmie) Norris, Carlisle; a son, Glen Vickers, Paris; and nine grandchildren, Ronald (Rita) McCarty, Carlisle, Kathy (Henry) Norris, Bourbon County, Tom McCarty, Lexington, Terry (Teresa) McCarty, Georgetown, Sharon Vickers, Harrison County, Andy (Debbie) Vickers, Paris, Jeff (Michelle) Vickers, Paris, Kelly (Anthony) McFarland, Paris, and Penny Powell. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Powell. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 31, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Chuck Perry and Rev. Chad Broaddus with burial in the North Middletown Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Wendell Terrell, John McCarty, Justin McCarty, Joe Vickers, Jeff McClure, and Ronnie McCarty Jr. Honorary bearers will be Bobby Norris, Mose Traylor III, Gordon Helphinstine, Jim Weddings, Otis Davis, and James Motley. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday.
