Bobby Overly, 78, a retired truck driver for Yellow Freight, husband of Carolyn Barbee Overly, died Saturday, September 19, 2015 at his home. He was born January 8, 1937 in Bourbon County, son of the late Leroy and Hannah Jones Overly and was a member of River of Life Ministries. In addition to his wife, Bobby is survived by a sister, Martha Overly; brother, Larry (Betty) Overly; and four grandchildren, Leroy Overly, Cassie Overly, Hannah Overly, and Frances Overly. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Frances Sargent Overly; and three sons, Robert, Timothy, and Kenneth Overly; and a brother, Kenneth Overly. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 23, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Pastor Krista Hampton with burial in Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Larry Barnett, Harry Sargent, Leroy Overly, James Roberts, Jason Roach, and Steven Roach. Honorary bearers will be Randall Roach and Roger Sargent. Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
