Vivian Carol Markham Osborne, 70, of Waxhaw, North Carolina and formerly of Paris, died Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center in Monroe, North Carolina. She was born November 18, 1943 in Bowling Green, Kentucky, daughter of Robert Markham, Nicholas County, and the late Christiane Woolbright Markham and was a graduate of Paris High School. In addition to her father, Vivian is survived by three daughters, Cindy (Mitch) Hedges, Bourbon County, Sheila A. (Tom) Moore, Waxhaw, NC, Sherri L. (Bob) Vincent, NC; six grandchildren, Lindsey Hedges, Tyler Hedges, Seth Moore, Thomas Morgan, Sam Morgan, George Morgan; a great granddaughter, Aubrey Rae Jones; and a brother, George Markham. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Markham; and her former husband, Bobby Waugh. Funeral services will be Monday, April 14, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Chuck Perry. Visitation will be after 5:00 p.m. Monday.
