Kathryn Jane Yazell, 56, a former day care teacher, died Monday, December 16, 2013 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. She was born March 11, 1957 in Middletown, Ohio, daughter of Leonard Norman Yazell, Nicholasville, and the late Peggy Rose Hudnall Yazell. Kathy was a member of Northside Baptist Church. In addition to her father, she is survived by four sisters, Debbie Helton, Nicholasville, Donna Yazell, Scott County, Karen Stevens, Isonville, Teresa Yazell, Versailles; three brothers, Norman (Kim) Yazell, Lancaster, Jimmy Yazell, Lexington, Johnny (Michelle) Yazell, Lexington; and 69 nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
