Ronel A. Keeton, 85, a retired Claiborne Farm employee, husband of Lina Cantrell Keeton, died Monday, January 13, 2014 at Saint Joseph Hospital. He was born April 27, 1928 in West Liberty, son of the late Joe and Nancy Adams Keeton and was a member of First Church of God. In addition to his wife, Ronel is survived by two daughters, Cathy Wright, Paris, Phyllis Freeman, Saint Cloud, MN; four grandchildren, Jacob Wright, Scott Humphries, Joshua Wright, Laura Schoenherr; and a great grandson, Benjamin Schoenherr. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, January 16, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by E.J. Caswell and David Mefford with burial in Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Roy Humphries, Jacob Wright, Scott Humphries, Dean Roseberry, Jerry Allen, and Tommy Jones. Honorary bearers will be Joshua Wright, Earl Clough, Wesley Schoenherr, Robyn Humphries, and Cassie Wright. Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Thursday.
