Cecil Edward Morris, 82, a retired IBM employee, widower of Sue Lois Hill Morris, died Monday, July 9, 2018 at Baptist Health Lexington. He was born December 8, 1935 in Millersburg, son of the late Paul and Belle Wagoner Morris. Cecil is survived by a son, Kent (Dawn) Morris; seven grandchildren, Kristin Morris, Allison Morris, Erica (Corey) Johnson, Eddie Morris, Amanda (Shaun) Alexander, Michael (Kitty) Watkins, Traves Watkins; eleven great grandchildren, Bentley Smith, Alix Watkins, Tristan Watkins, Mikael Watkins, Kalee Jo Watkins, Madison Alexander, Kennedy Alexander, Raegan Alexander, McKinley Alexander, Maddox Alexander, Emerson Alexander; and a great, great granddaughter, Arianna Watkins. A daughter, Vicki Watkins, preceded him in death. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 13, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with funeral service following at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Gary Stith. Burial will be in Millersburg Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Jerry Barnes Sr., Dwayne Ison, Jerry Harp, Earl Waugh, Carl “Junior” McGlothin, and Scott Hampton.
