Harold Vernon  Bussell
Harold Vernon Bussell, 92, retired IBM employee and owner of Bussell’s Used Cars, U.S. Army veteran of World War II, widower of Fannie Mae Irvin Bussell, died Friday, April 20, 2018 at Johnson Mathers Nursing Home in Carlisle. He was born December 12, 1925 in Cynthiana, son of the late Earl and Edna Crouch Bussell, attended Little Rock School, and was a member of Central Baptist Church. Harold is survived by a stepdaughter, Mabel Pena, Paris; and a sister, Aileene Wiley, Dayton, Ohio. A sister, Margie Lovell, preceded him in death. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with funeral service at 1:00 p.m. by Rev. Steven Scherer. Burial will be in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Casket bearers will be Danny Elam, Chris King, Chris Jones, Bill Sprinkle, J.C. True, and Jack Kegley. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Bluegrass Hospice Care.
