Mary Hazel  Clem (Cassity)
Mary Hazel Clem, 83, a retired cook for the Bourbon County school system, widow of Robert “Pete” Clem, died Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Saint Joseph Hospital. She was born April 15, 1934 in Bath County, daughter of the late Hershel and Sadie Harper Cassity and was a member of New Hope Assembly of God. She leaves to mourn a daughter, Brenda Faulkner; three sons, Bobby Clem, Keith Clem, Donnie Clem; eight grandchildren, Mike Faulkner, Brian Faulkner, Cassie Price, Laura Clem, Robbie Clem, Haleigh Clem, Mickey Stone, Danielle Davis; two sisters, Phyllis Albright, Elizabeth Roe; five brothers, Floyd, Ray, Everett, Edward, and James Cassity; eleven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Vickie Sue English, Patty Clem White; two sons, Danny Clem, Harold “Rusty” Clem; a sister, Idamae Crisler; and two brothers, Chester and Billy Cassity. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 27, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with service following at 1:00 p.m. by Rev. Steve Baker. Burial will be in Clintonville Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Mike Faulkner, Brian Faulkner, Robbie Clem, Mickey Stone, Jamie Crisler, and Kevin Crisler.
