Robert Boxley  Caswell Sr.
Robert Boxley Caswell Sr., 86, a retired employee of Bluegrass Army Depot-Avon Activity, U.S. Army veteran, husband of Emma Burnell Johnson Caswell, died Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Bourbon Community Hospital. He was born June 20, 1931 in Nicholas County, son of the late E.J. and Briny Goebel Campbell Caswell. Robert was a member and Elder Emeritus of Clintonville Christian Church and served many years as board chairman of the Clintonville Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Emma Burnell Caswell; three children, Robert Boxley (Linda) Caswell Jr., Roger Paul (Patty) Caswell, Jane (Calvin) Collins; five grandchildren, Jane Allen (Jeremy) Moore, Pamela Thompson, Amy (Mike) Hardin, Adam (Rachel) Caswell, Hollie (Kraig) Tersigni; nine great grandchildren, Kimberly Allen King, Rebeca Jane King, Matt Brunker, Blake Thompson, Zachary Thompson, J.W. Hardin, Esther Caswell, Everly Caswell, Noah Tersigni, Hannah Tersigni; one great, great grandchild, Brayden Brunker; and four brothers, Edwin (Lillian) Caswell, E.J. (Marilyn) Caswell, Jimmy (Barbara) Caswell, and Allen (Linda) Caswell. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 5, at Clintonville Christian Church by Rev. Charles H. Kemp with burial in Clintonville Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Jeremy Moore, Matt Brunker, Adam Caswell, Mike Hardin, Blake Thompson, Kraig Tersigni, Danny Hatton, and Jackie Riggs. Honorary bearers will be Zachary Thompson and the Elders of Clintonville Christian Church. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the church. Memorials are suggested to Clintonville Christian Church or Clintonville Cemetery.
