Larry Dale Sturgill, 63, a retired mechanic for CSX Railroad, husband of Debbie Stevens Sturgill, died Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. He was born August 23, 1954 in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, son of the late Samuel T. and Ruby Ball Sturgill and was a graduate of Paris High School. Larry is survived by his wife, Debbie Sturgill; a brother, Raymond (Deulah) Sturgill; his special children, John Soper, David Soper, Nicholas Bromagen; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 26, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. by Sister Debbie Clark Gilbert and Carl Ball. Honorary bearers will be John Soper, David Soper, Nick Bromagen, Adam Berry, Darrell Leggett, David Allen, Chris Lotz, and Chris Thwaites. Memorials are suggested to Bluegrass Hospice Care.
