Obituary for James C. Henry

James C.  Henry
James C. Henry, 89, retired Bourbon County PVA employee, U.S. Army veteran of World War II, widower of Ann Day Henry, died Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Bourbon Heights Nursing Home. He was born November 28, 1927 in North Middletown, son of the late Oscar and Lillie Mae Curtis Henry. Jim was a graduate of Paris High School, a member of Paris Lodge #2, F&AM, National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors, and was an Elder of First Presbyterian Church. He is survived by a son, James Brian (Phyllis) Henry; grandson, Lucas Rice; nephew, Mark (Jennifer) Dowden; great nephew, Hunter Dowden; great niece, Kendall Dowden; and a brother, George (Ann) Henry. He was preceded in death by a sister, Bess Henry; and two brothers, Richart and Kenneth Henry. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. Sunday, August 13, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with Masonic Rites at 7:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 7:30 p.m. by Brother Lowell Rice. Memorials are suggested to one’s favorite charity.
