growing up

My sister Peggy and I remember your family fondly growing up in the 60's. We lived for such a short time on Beverly Ave, but our parents continued to use Juanita to care for us. I remember running down to the big willow down the street and Juanita calling us back. I remember running along the back fence and through out the house. It was a fun time even on rainy days. Your mom helped shape who we were and are today in so many ways. When I started teaching at Bryan Station Middle I loved to here the stories the kids would tell me about Juanita too. I will say a prayer of thanksgiving every time I pass Evergreen.
