Juanita Jane  Ball (McFarland)
Juanita Jane McFarland Ball, 88, retired cafeteria worker for Bryan Station High School, widow of Ralph Wilson Ball, died Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Bourbon Heights Nursing Home. She was born October 9, 1928 in Bourbon County, daughter of the late Albert and Maude Curtis McFarland. Mrs. Ball is survived by three daughters, Elaine (Stephen) Travis, Deborah (Karl) Busby, Jane (Dr. Bruce) Jordan; three sons, Wayne Ball, Anthony (Tracey) Ball, Emile (Juanita) Fodor; seven grandchildren, Michael W. Ball, Kathy Ball, Melissa Gregory, Megan Travis, Sarah Jordan-Ladekjaer, Matthew Jordan, Dustin Ball; a sister, Barbara (Harry) Tucker; eight great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Andrew Jordan; a brother, George McFarland; and a sister, Ruby Clark. Her family expresses special appreciation to her nieces, Judy Tucker and Charlotte Stone. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 28, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Timothy W. Pierce with burial in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday.
