Dorothy Ritchie Steele, 91, a retired nurse’s aide, widow of Clark Steele Sr., died Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Bourbon Community Hospital. She was born November 27, 1925 in Nicholas County, daughter of the late Willie and Fannie Herrington Ritchie, attended Nicholas County schools, and was a member of First Church of God. Mrs. Steele is survived by two daughters, Lydia Jean Taylor, Margaret Sue (William) Ramey, both of Paris; a son, Clark Steele Jr., Florida; son-in-law, William Jenkins; special friend, Clyde Lee Taylor; seven grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Phyllis Ann Jenkins; two sisters; and a brother. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 27, at the Paris Cemetery Chapel by Rev. Jim Caswell. There will be no visitation.
