Dorothy Blanche  Butler (Lemons)
Dorothy Blanche Butler, 86, a retired licensed practical nurse, widow of Carl Butler, died Monday, July 10, 2017 at Johnson Mathers Nursing Home. She was born April 23, 1931 in Nicholas County, daughter of the late Samuel and Lillian Fite Lemons, a graduate of Nicholas County schools, and was a member of Paris Christian Chapel. Mrs. Butler is survived by two daughters, Ramona (Granville) Graves, Georgetown, Robin (Michael) Mullins, North Middletown; two sons, Bobby Gene (Barbara) Nichols, Bourbon County, Jackie Todd Nichols, Mount Sterling; daughter-in-law, Debi Nichols; twelve grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Roger Nichols; a granddaughter, Jenna Raye Nichols; two sisters, Doris Jean Stone, Dolly Mers; and a brother, Samuel “Pete” Lemons. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 17, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Don Jolly and Hospice Chaplain Rick Snyder with burial in Carlisle Cemetery. Casket bearers will be David Nichols, Joshua Nichols, Lance Corporal Nathaniel Mullins, Granville “Tinnie” Graves, Jordan Mullins, Michael Mullins, and Zach Rohrberg. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday.
