Darlene Sebastian Ransdell, 60, retired medical records supervisor for Bourbon Community Hospital, wife of John A. Ransdell, died Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at Baptist Health Lexington. She was born June 6, 1957 in Lee County, daughter of the late Wardie and Mary Jane Sebastian. Darlene was a graduate of Bourbon County High School, attended Eastern Kentucky University, member of Country Friends Homemakers, and was a member of Silas Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, Darlene is survived by a son, Jonathan (Erin) Sebastian; two grandchildren, Hunter Sebastian, Karlee Sebastian; three stepchildren, Christie (Jeremy) Hudnall, Brandon (Brooke) Ransdell, Emily (Chris) Bryant; a sister, Tonya (Wendell) Terrell; three brothers, Wardie (Cathy) Sebastian Jr, Kendall (Becky) Sebastian, Russell (Leslie) Sebastian; six step grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 8, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Curtis Coots with burial in Jacksonville Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Brandon Ransdell, Gary Wilson, John McCarty, Michael Wagoner, Jeremy Hudnall, and Chris Bryant. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday.
