Ruth Edwards Jackson, 89, widow of James E. “Ed” Jackson, died Tuesday, June 6, 2016 at King’s Daughter Hospital in Madison, Indiana. She was born October 2, 1927 in Bourbon County, daughter of the late David and Mitcha Feddars Edwards. Ruth was a graduate of Center Hill High School and was a member of Central Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, Forest (Janice) Jackson; daughter, Laura (Brad) Enevoldsen; four grandchildren, Brian (Shannon) Jackson, Bret (Laura) Jackson, Emily (Joshua) Denny, Mollie (Bubba) Whitaker; seven great grandchildren, Nicholas Jackson, McKenna Jackson, James “J.J.” Jackson, Sadie Jackson, Michael Denny, Reagan Denny, Jackson Whitaker; a sister, Juanita Crawford; and a brother, Lloyd Feddars. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 10, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Steven Scherer with burial in Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Brian Jackson, Bret Jackson, Emily Enevoldsen Denny, Mollie Enevoldsen Whitaker, Joshua Denny, James “Bubba” Whitaker, Michael Leer, and Jeremy Wyles. Honorary bearers will be Betty Jo Garrison, Todd Earlywine, Bill Tipton, Bill Purcell, Woody Berry, Ed Fitzpatrick, Bill and Wanda Sprinkle, Glenn and Kathy Mackie, Dennis Lowery, and members of Soul Winners Sunday School Class. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church, Paris, Kentucky, or Open Door Baptist Church, Deputy, Indiana.
