Obituary for Orville E. Napier

Orville E.  Napier
Orville E. Napier, 88, retired owner of Napier’s Barber Shop and U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, widower of Irene S. Napier, died Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the New Albany Care Center in Columbus, Ohio. He was born February 10, 1929 in Perry County, son of the late Curt and Pearl Grigsby Napier and was a member of Spears Mill Baptist Church. Mr. Napier is survived by a special son, William T. Stacy, Bourbon County; two sisters, Lois Heath, Chicago, Illinois, Geneva Courville, Jonesboro, Arkansas; a brother, Paul Napier, Stockton, California; and special friend and caregiver, Gay Kirby Allender, Johnstown, Ohio. A special daughter, Teresa Stacy Price; and a brother, Curtis Napier,, preceded him in death. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 19, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Philip D. Ronk with burial in the Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Rick Claypool, Tim Stacy, Adam Stacy, Blaine Price, Tyler Jackson, Trevor Jackson, and Trenton Stacy. The Deacons of Spears Mill Baptist Church will serve as honorary bearers. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ohio Health Hospice or Spears Mill Baptist Church.
