Obituary for Mary Margaret McClintock (Kenney)

Mary Margaret McClintock, 65, a retired registered nurse, wife of William G. McClintock, died Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Hospice Care Center. She was born April 4, 1951 in Paris, daughter of the late William Buckner and Waller Payne Kenney. She was a graduate of Paris High School, attended Georgetown College, and received her nursing degree from UK, and was a member of First Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, Mary Margaret is survived by two daughters, Meg Burns (Brandon) Sumpter, Elizabeth Burns (Buck) Woodford; and a granddaughter, Ella Payne Woodford. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Waller Payne Fryman and Katherine K. “Kassie” Kenney. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 2, at Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Harry Park, Curt Park, Gayle Slade, Bill Pumphrey, Bob Thompson, and Lee Burns. There will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass, Kids Cancer Alliance, 607 W Main St #200, Louisville KY 40202, or one’s favorite charity.
