Veva Charlene Watson, 89, widow of Walter Edward Watson Jr., died Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Baptist Health Lexington. She was born September 28, 1927 in DeWitt County, Illinois, daughter of the late John U. and Maude Walters Webb, a graduate of Clinton Community High School in Clinton, Illinois, and was a member of Ruddles Fort Homemakers and Ruddles Mill Christian Church. Veva is survived by three daughters, Sherri (Raymond) Ellsworth, Sunderland, Massachusetts, Cathy Watson, Lexington, Kristy (Ron) Bruner, Taylorsville; three grandchildren, Capt. Richard Ellsworth, U.S. Army, Capt. Nathan Ellsworth, U.S. Air Force, Kelsey Bruner; and five great grandchildren, Westen, Eileen, William, Evelyn, and Samuel Ellsworth. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday, January 14, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home followed by a service at 10:30 a.m. with burial in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Casket bearers will be Ron Bruner, Ray Ellsworth, Nathan Ellsworth, Bill Cameron, Dillion McClain, and Doug McClain.
