Betty Ann Southerland, 75, bookkeeper for Southerland’s Greenhouses, died Thursday, January 5, 2017 at her home. She was born March 17, 1941 in Paris, daughter of the late Richard G. and Mafre Ashcraft Brunner. Betty was a graduate of Paris High School, attended the University of Kentucky, and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Lynne (Bryan) Taylor; granddaughter, Mandy Lynne (John) Sapp; three great grandchildren, Faith, Olivia, and Joseph Sapp; two brothers, Russell L. “Dickie” (Rae Jean) Brunner, Keith L. (Priscilla) Brunner; and two brothers-in-law, Will (Cindy) Southerland and Jimmy (Patsy) Southerland. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 10, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home followed by a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. by Elder Volker Schmidt.
