Roger Scott  Dufresne
Roger Scott Dufresne, 62, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, died Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Bourbon Community Hospital. He was born December 7, 1953 in Shirley, Massachusetts, son of the late Alvin Louie and Ruby Emmons and was a member of the Catholic Church of the Annunciation. Roger is survived by five daughters, Tiffany (Jackie) Heath, Walton, KY, Brandy (Karl) Mitchell-Williams, Paris, Jamie (Stephen) Apple, Westchester, OH, Mary Dufresne, Somerset, KY, Rebecca Dufresne, Walton, KY; three sons, Scott Dufresne, Slocomb, AL, Michael Dufresne, Walton, KY, Brian (Becky) Dufresne, Mt. Olivet, KY; two sisters, Melody Dufresne, Kim Dufresne; a brother, Louie Emmons III; 21 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Bobbie Hall; and two brothers, Jimmy and Robert Dufresne. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 am Thursday, December 8, at the Catholic Church of the Annunciation by Rev. Daniel Fister with burial in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-North, Williamstown, KY. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home.
