Skyler  Ray
Jacob Skyler Ray, 21, an employee of Big Ass Fans, died Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Rockcastle Regional Hospital. He was born January 4, 1995 in Fort Riley, Kansas, son of Jeannie Moore Wanner of Lexington and Daniel E. Ray of Louisville, a 2013 graduate of Bourbon County High School, and was a member of the Renegade Skate Team. In addition to his parents, Skyler is survived by his fiancée, Kiley Price, Paris; two brothers, Gavin Ray, Hunter Ray, both of Lexington; a sister, Adriana Ray; maternal grandmother, Stella Moore; paternal grandparents, Sarah and Danny Ray; great grandparents, Selma Moore, Nancy Ray, Don and Carol Lortin; three aunts, Susan Sparks, Emily Gruneisen, Kelli Schmidt; his future in-laws, Matthew and Sandy Price; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William Moore, and great grandfathers, Gene Ray and Joe Garriott. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 4, at Paris First Presbyterian Church. Casket bearers will be Hunter Ray, Gavin Ray, Daniel E. Ray, Tyler Williams, Matthew Price, Adam Wainscott, Duron Adams, Roger Gruneisen, and Allan Schmidt. Visitation will be 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the church.
