Jessie Franklin "Frank"  Crockett Sr.
Jessie Franklin “Frank” Crockett Sr., 78, entered into this life on October 31, 1937. He was a devoted and loving husband for 56 years to Dorothy Spivey Crockett. He entered into his heavenly home May 21, 2016, at his home.
Frank was retired from IBM and served in the United States Air Force. He was a Scout Leader, Military Honor Guard, Mason, as well as a Kentucky Colonel. Frank was also a devoted UK fan.
In addition to his loving wife, Frank was survived by sons Jessie F. (Emily) Crockett and Steven Darryl Crockett (Donna Miller), both of Paris; four grandchildren, Robert Crockett of Richmond, Darren (Amelia) Bratton of Paris, Deanna (Laura) Kendall of Colorado, and Crystal (Michael) Pickle of Rockcastle County; eight great-grandchildren, T.J. Tolliver of Richmond, Tessa, Joe and Dillon Pickle of Rockcastle County, Kayelee, Kaleb, and Alexandrea Bratton of Paris; a brother, Floyd (Glenna) Crockett of Parisl three sisters, Lena (Earl) Yeary of Indiana, Brenda (Nadeem) Chowdhury of Texas, and Betty Giddens of Florida; sisters-in-law Marsha (Mike) Vance of Paris, Dorothy Anderson Spivey of Paris, Diane Crockett of Virginia and Debbie Spears of Indiana, Billie Crockett of Manchester; a special nephew, Tim Crockett of Paris; and a host of other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Mary Crockett; three brothers, Bobby, Willis Jr., and Russell Crockett; and one sister, Katherine Fisher.
Funeral services will be held at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home, 526 Pleasant Street, Paris, on Friday, May 27, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Sam Campbell will be officiating services. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens following the service.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 26, 2016, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Carrying beloved Frank to his final resting place will be Tim Crockett, Darren Bratton, Jeff Bailey, Dave Williams, Jason Bailey, and Tracy Thorpe.
Honorary pallbearers will be Frank’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
