Junnie Motoko Parker, 86, of Sadieville, widow of William Nelson Parker, died Monday, May 2, 2016 at her home. She was born March 31, 1930 in Hiroshima, Japan, daughter of the late Kynechi and Shigeko Yosida. Junnie is survived by six daughters and sons-in-law, Junnie Ann and Michael Thurman, Sadieville, Linda Short, Winchester, Bonnie and Roy Haddix, Nicholasville, Mary and James Slone, Sadieville, Jennifer and Joey Maffet, Las Vegas, Nevada, Debbie and William Michael Jenkins, Sadieville; four sons and daughters-in-law, Billy Parker, Lexington, Ken and Gayle Parker, Louisville, Henry and Kathy Parker, Lexington, Sherman and Stephanie Parker, Lexington; 26 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and four great, great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 7, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
