Dorothy Beatrice Bills Abner, 89, widow of Marvin Abner, died Friday, October 24, 2014 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. She was born August 8, 1925 in Bourbon County, daughter of the late Horton and Mary Berry Bills and was a member of First Church of God. Dorothy is survived by two sons, Michael (Jennifer) Abner, Winchester, Marvin Jeffrey Abner, Lexington; four grandchildren, Matthew, Mason, David, and Joshua Abner; and six great grandchildren, Ashton, Lily, Tegyn, Allana, Molly, and Briella Abner. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Bills; and two brothers, William and James Bills. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 28, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Timothy W. Pierce and Rev. Sylvester Sanders with burial in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Casket bearers will be Michael Abner, Jeff Abner, Mason Abner, David Abner, Josh Abner, and James Bills. Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Tuesday.
