Katherine "Katie" Norris, 65, wife of 42 years to Bobby Ray Norris, including Bobby's 19 years in the US Air Force, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at her home. She was born July 29, 1948 in Oscoda, Michigan, daughter of the late Larry and Mary Galager Morrison. She was a former laundry mat manager, ran a day care center at her home, and was a nannie to many children. Katie is also survived by a daughter, Katherine Michelle (Matt) Faulconer; two sons, Bobby Ray (Mary) Norris Jr., Steven Ray (Ellen) Norris; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Greenlee, Joshua Cook, Kimmy Faulconer, Matthew Faulconer, Lola Myers; sister, Pat Sommers; and two brothers, Mike (Sandy) Morrison and Gene (Janet) Morrison. Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. Sunday, October 20, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Paul Holland. Visitation will be after 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
