Geneva Humphries Kelly, 94, widow of Joe E. Kelly, died Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Bourbon Community Hospital. She was born September 17, 1919 in Nicholas County, daughter of the late John and Daisy Hawkins Humphries. Geneva was a graduate of Paris High School and was a member of Senior Friends, Widow to Widow, Goodwill Sunday School Class, First United Methodist Church, and attended Paris Christian Chapel. She is survived by a daughter, Carol Rose, Paris; three grandchildren, Kelly McFarland, Jeffrey Vickers, Julie Rose; seven great grandchildren; and two great, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Vickers; three sisters, Elsie Sanders, Mabel Worthington, Malissa McFeena; and three brothers, Wesley, Sanford, and Clifton Humphries. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 23, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Don Jolly with burial in Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Jeff Vickers, Jordan Vickers, Richard Hamilton, Tyler Garrett, Jerry Ormes, and Steve Davis. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday. Memorials are suggested to Paris Christian Chapel.
