Harold Collier King, 79, retired employee of Rockwell International, husband of Margaret Wells King, died Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Hospice Care Center. He was born June 20, 1933 in Bourbon County, son of the late Harry Collier and Julia Tobin King. Harold was a graduate of North Middletown High School and was a member of Spears Mill Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Harold Davis King, Lexington, Joe Collier King, Paris; three grandchildren, Erica Renee King, Jacob Collier King, Peyton Davis King; two great granddaughters, Desiree and Rylie; three brothers, Dr. William Peyton (Patricia) King, Lexington, Robert G. (Beulah) King, Lexington, Gerald Thomas (Brenda) King, North Middletown; and a sister-in-law, Mary Margaret King. A brother, James Edward King, preceded him in death. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 29, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Brother Barry Proctor with burial in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Casket bearers will be Joshua Hudnall, Jeremy Hudnall, Will King, Jamie King, Brian King, Robert King, Scott King, Tommy King, and Phillip Mays. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass or Spears Mill Baptist Church.
