Mary Alice Elkin, 73, of Lexington, retired Harold Asher Insurance Agency secretary, wife of R.A. Elkin, died Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Central Baptist Hospital. She was born October, 26, 1938 in Lexington, daughter of Martin Williams Cinnamon, Sevierville, TN and the late Melvin R. Cinnamon. Mary was a graduate of Lafayette High School, attended the University of Kentucky, and was a member of the Methodist Church. In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by a son, Rick (Tonia) Elkin, Millersburg; two daughters, Sherry (Steve) Lutes, Sevierville, TN, Tina Beauregard, Goshen, OH; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 3, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home. There will be no services.
