James "Perk" Bartlett, 41, 1940 Cypress Street, died Sunday, October 26, 2008 at his home. He was born February 17, 1967 in Paris and was a graduate of Paris High School. Perk is survived by his father and stepmother, Doug and Elizabeth Bartlett, Paris; two brothers, Foster (Tammie) Bartlett, Nicholas County, Preston (Emily) Bartlett, Mount Sterling; a sister, Robin (Ricky) Browning, Paris; and his stepfather, Marvin Robinson, Paris. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rebecca Swinford Robinson; and a brother, Vincent Robinson. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 29, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Krista Hampton with burial in the Millersburg Cemetery. Casket bearers will be James Lukins, Charles Lukins, Carl Smart, Mike Day, Mark Day, Chris Livingood, and Todd Gilvin. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.
