Kenneth Edward Yazell, 75, Centerville Lane, husband of Barbara Scott "Bobbie" Yazell, died Sunday, September 2, 2007at St. Joseph Hospital. He was born January 13, 1932, in Bourbon County, son of the late Leonard and Rose Walton Yazell and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Mr. Yazell is also survived by a daughter, Kendra (Timothy) Philpot, Sadieville; a son, Mark (Glenda) Yazell, Carlisle; a sister, Sandra "Skeets" (Eugene) Franklin, Bourbon County; seven brothers, Harold (Wilma) Yazell, Middletown, OH, George (Betty) Yazell, Harrison County, Leslie (Donna) Yazell, Bourbon County, Norman Yazell, Lexington, Bronson (Caroline) Yazell, Harrison County, Glen (Brenda) Yazell, Harrison County, Oval (Mary Etta) Yazell, Bourbon County; seven grandchildren, John Travis Wagner, Martha Jean Buckler, Christopher Mark Dale, Jonathan David Dale, Derek Wayne Yazell, Kelly Ann Pettitt, Megan Summerstein Yazell; and two great grandsons, Braydan Kyle Dale and Braylon Jerrad Wagner. He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Martha Jane Goodpaster Yazell; a son, John Yazell; and a brother, Virgil Yazell. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 6, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 920 Clintonville Road, by Bishop James Denninghoff with interment in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Casket bearers will be Jerry Reffett, Jerome Harney, John Plummer, Bobby Johnson, Travis Wagner, Chris Dale, Derek Yazell, and John Guy. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Hinton-Turner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
